APA Global Education Team and Youth Action
During the year APA Global Education Team ran workshops with second level students discussing the four global challenges of International Inequalities, Climate Change Migration and Gender Inequalities. Our newly developed teaching and learning Units (TLUs), help young people develop critical thinking, empathy and active citizenship through creative, student-led projects.
Pictured in the slideshow are some of the students from Tullamore College, Roscommon Community College and Galway Educate Together Secondary School at workshops during the year.
The Get up and Goals project is funded by the European Commission – Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development (CSO-LA/2017/388-124) and implemented in Ireland by A Partnership with Africa (APA).
