Development Education

The Global Education Time (Get) Project

The Global Education Time (GET) Project is a European Union/Irish Aid funded initiative implemented in Ireland by A Partnership with Africa. The project aims to increase awareness of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Development Education (DE) amongst educators, young people and their communities. Follow the GET Project websites here: GET International and GET Ireland
Project activities include:
  • Advocacy and campaigning to help create conducive policy responses to the Global Goals
  • Working with student teachers and practicing teachers to embed SDG content and DE approaches across subjects/short courses
  • Supporting post-primary students to undertake SDG-related actions in their communities.
